How often should you topdress sports turf?
Most turf managers topdress during active growth, when the grass can grow up through the layer quickly. Lighter, more frequent applications usually beat one heavy pass.
Does compost topdressing help with compaction and recovery?
Yes. Adding organic matter and living biology back into a compacted, hard-worn root zone helps the surface hold water, drain, and recover faster between stresses.
